Please forget the fact that the angel of the web cam on my laptop was ALL. WRONG and makes me look like a giant! Oh well...I'll try for better next time! What do you think? Written entries or video diary entries? The video ones are easier, I admit! Feedback you shy ones!!!
I LOVE this!!! You are adorable. Love your dark hair.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, don't be so hard on yourself. It was a day to celebrate, Collin!! All you can do if move forward.
Enjoy your beer. It looks beautiful outside.

So many things!
ReplyDeleteFirst, cool about the webcam! Its good to see you move, and we can get so many nuances. Nice upgrade!
Second, hard to get used to you with such dark hair.
Third, you started this running thing from scratch after a layoff. And now, this gives you a chance to start again.
Fourth, it seems you might have learned a lesson about how you react to unhealthy food. It's sort of how I learned not to drink a bottle of 151. I never wanted to feel like that again.
Fifth, you clearly have a stockpile of wisdom. You may be disappointed in yourself, but I am impressed with you!
Sixth, you are awesome.
Well, I like the video, maybe because I finally get to see you and hear you at the same time. lol If it's easier for you to do then stick with it. You can always post some of each, I'm sure people won't mind.
ReplyDeleteDon't beat yourself over the lost mileage, you're doing a fantastic job as it is!!!
I say "Awesome, Jen!" As others (including yourself) have said, don't be too hard on yourself. You have been doing an amazing job, and I for one am very proud and inspired by you!
ReplyDeleteGo girl! Good luck on the 11 miler on Saturday!

Hey Jen! Nice to "see" you on the webcam. You are being very hard on yourself for skipping one run when you've done SO GOOD for 6 long weeks. In the scheme of things, it's not a biggie and you'll rebound from this just fine. A skipped run for Collins birthday is WORTH IT. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso? Me and heat don't mix, either. At.All. I, too, will avoid a run if it's too hot out and I miss the cooler morning window.
Had my foot x-ray'd yesterday. No stress fracture but was diagnosed with a forefoot sprain. Nice. WTH?? Went on a run like normal - nothing new or different - and yet I ended up getting a random sprain. This is a first for me. Have to stay off of it for awhile, which totally sucks. So in a way you're running for me, too, and I'm living vicariously through you at the moment.
